Welcome to The Milton First Aid Squad.
Our organization is a fully volunteer BLS provider dedicated to providing the community of Milton/Oak Ridge and our surrounding communities with 911 medical services when called upon. The Corps operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year. All riding members are certified first responders, or EMTs.. Our members are trained to the highest standards for basic life support.
Our organization is funded by both the Township of Jefferson and by donations. All donations are used for community outreach, equipment, training and various functional expenditures. Our members are all proud and dedicated volunteers.

The Milton First Aid Squad with Milton Fire Company One recently held a joint drill sharping their skills with extricating a patient that is trapped in a car due to an MVA. Both departments worked together to safely remove the car away from the trapped patient and then get them out of the car.
The Milton First Aid Squad participated in a drill on Lake Hopatcong practicing removing a patient off of the Miss Latta cruise ship. In the event of an emergency or a customer needing help, First Responders from Jefferson Rescue, and Fire Companies One and Two practice moving the patient off the ship onto Fire Companies rescue boat.
The Milton First Aid Squad hosted a pancake breakfast fund raiser in conjunction with Christmas in the Village. Olaf and Princess Anna were on hand to meet our guests and hand out holiday gifts to them. Mayor Wilsusen stopped by to se them and enjoy breakfast. A good time was had by all.
The Squad recently held the 2020 installation of officers. Twelfth District Vice President Edna Deacon along with Mayor Eric Wilsusen swore in the officers for 2020.

March 2, 2020 Emergency Responder Class begins
The Squad will be training our new members to be certified Emergency Medical Reponders. Our class will start on March 2nd at 7:00 PM and complete on May 14th. Once completed the individuals will carry a nationally certified Emergency Responder card and a First Responder CPR card. They will then be assigned a shift and start riding with the squad. Anyone interested may attend on March 2nd to get more information or participate in the training.
March 28, 2020 Bingo night
The Squad will be hosting a bingo fund raiser on March 28, 2020. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and bingo will start at 7:00 PM. There is a $20.00 per-person charge. This includes one card per game, there are 15 games called. Refreshments and snacks are provided. Guests can bring there on snacks and beverages. Guests must be over the age of 18 due to state gambling laws.
April 21, 2020 Open house
The Squad will be hosting an open house for for residents to stop by, see our equipment, and watch a vehicle extrication. The building will be open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. April is National volunteer appreciation month. Volunteers are an important part of our community and the Milton First Aid Squad. Please stop by and learn how rewarding being a member is.
Clothing shed donations
The Milton First Aid Squad would like to remind residents that the clothing donation shed behind the squad building serves several good purposes.
Turnkey is a New Jersey based small business, clothing is never shredded into rags, and residents have a convenient way to give their old clothes a second life. Finally, the Milton First Aid squad receives proceeds from your donation.
Receipts for tax purposes are available on location.
